ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME
This foundational programme introduces participants to height and rope rescue operations, covering personal protective equipment, rappelling and ascending techniques, patient packaging and recovery, and hauling and lowering systems in line with NFPA 1670 and 1006 standards. It equips learners with the core technical rope skills required for safe and effective rescue operations at height.

CAPABILITY DEVELOPED THROUGH TRAINING
Identify fall hazards and select appropriate personal fall protection equipment

Perform safe ascending, descending and rope transition techniques at height
Rig belay and edge-protection systems for height safety operations
Execute pick-off rescue and self/assisted rescue of a suspended worker
Apply rope access techniques for sustained work at height
