ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME
The Basic Flood Rescue Course + is a 10-day programme leading to an MMB PBH & LST licence. It combines powerboat operation under the 2NT category — including forward and reverse handling, coming alongside, mooring, night operation, navigation and maintenance — with CPR, first aid, OOE and radio communications, lifesaving skills and firefighting.

Powerboat Operation (2NT)
Operate a powerboat under the 2NT category, including forward, reverse, coming alongside and mooring.
Night Operation & Navigation
Operate and navigate a powerboat at night and carry out routine maintenance.
CPR & First Aid
Apply CPR and first aid during a flood-rescue response.
OOE & Radio Communications
Operate OOE and radio communications equipment during a rescue operation.
Lifesaving Skills
Apply lifesaving skills in a flood-rescue context.
Fire Fighting
Apply basic firefighting technique as part of a flood-rescue response.
